Absolutely! Most of our couples feel a little camera shy and that’s completely normal. We’ll prioritise getting to know each other throughout planning and preparation so you feel comfortable and at ease during your engagement session. We’ll also provide gentle guidance during your portrait session to help you feel comfortable, confident, and have fun.

It depends. Engagement sessions can range anything from 30 minutes to 8 hrs if you wish for multiple locations that are far apart that we need to travel to such as Margaret River etc. If we will be driving around outside of Perth in Western Australia for more then 2 hours or you are planning an engagement session in another city/country this would be an “adventure session”. Based on our chat, understanding your vision and the number and what locations you are inspired by and what you want to do with your photos we will be able to customise a package that best suits you. 

It depends on a few factors such as how long your session is, how many locations you have chosen for your session etc etc. We will answer this question on the video call to give you an idea when customising your package.

Your online gallery will be emailed to you within a few weeks of your session. Using the link, you can instantly access all of your photos so you can easily share them with friends and family, download them, and print them. Your artwork order will be delivered according to a timeline that suits you best, which we will discuss together during your artwork design and ordering appointment.

If you are wanting that soft glowing natural light that is the most flattering, We usually advise if booking a shorter session of 30 minutes to 1 hour - schedule your session as close as possible to sunrise or sunset. Based on the location selected we will be able to let you know when is the best time. 

Yes absolutely, on the video call after chatting to you and getting a better sense of what you love to do and what backdrops in nature inspire you I can suggest certain locations in and around Perth or Western Australia. We have beautiful beaches, forests, parks, orchards. The nature and landscape in Perth and Western Australia in general is amazing. You have a ton of options to choose from. 

On the video call I will welcome you to make suggestions based on locations you love/have meaning or are inspired by. I am happy to shoot in whichever location you are drawn to so no, you do not need to go with any of my suggestions. The suggestions are just there if you need ideas.

Absolutely, I can create a moodboard for you or send you a pinterest board that will help you to see visually what clothes and colours work well if you feel you need a bit of help. Feel free to send any photos to me too of your outfits if you need a second opinion. 

We limit the number of engagement sessions per year to 10 to ensure the highest quality service and to make sure we have time to focus on serving our wedding couples too. 

Absolutely we can add on video. It will be a short and sweet film that documents your engagement session and the love and connection you share in an artful way. Video captures emotion and movement in a way that is very different from photography and is a great add on to your bespoke collection.

Absolutely. We would love to walk you through all of your options and help you choose and create the perfect album design for your images. 

Yes, absolutely! We can include wedding guest signing book to your bespoke collection or you can choose to create a DIY album with your images by downloading them from your gallery. A wedding guest signing book that has photos from your engagement session will make reading those messages from your wedding guests extra special.

Yes, absolutely! We can tailor your collection to include wall art such as framed prints. Besides being able to use your photos for save-the-dates, wedding websites and create an heirloom album with them. Your memories are best enjoyed and showcased by displaying them on the walls in your home. A constant reminder of the love and fun you have together.

When chatting about your session on the pre-booking call a few factors will determine the right month for you. Some factors to consider:

Absolutely, we have a few makeup and hair artists that you can check out and book directly with. We also have other vendor recommendations we can make such as companies that specialise in vintage sports cars, gourmet picnics and beautiful flower bouquets.

We’re based in Perth, Australia, with travel available! We love the opportunity to capture engagements and weddings across Australia and internationally, so if you’re planning a destination wedding or engagement session, please enquire. 

We will review each image and apply a signature style with colour correction. Your images are always edited naturally, and all images selected for album or artwork orders will receive a second round of review, editing, and advanced retouching where needed. Advanced retouching includes edits like tan line, blemish, fly-away hair and object removal, etc.
